Planning Phase Syndicate
Planning phase syndicate is a collective of X-Wing miniatures game players, sharing their experiences with the game. They will strive to bring you a variety of content from training and how to videos all the way to streamed games and hot meta-takes. The show’s focus Will be both to teaching new players as well as helping to hone those veterans skills. With fun, educational, and creative content, they will endeavor to add value to the listeners X-Wing experience. With some in-depth discussion, laughs, disagreements, and just plain rants they intend to provide content for the entire player spectrum from beginners to top table finishers. Academy 101
This segment name is determining training for new pilots that allow us to explain rules or mechanics of the game that will give a highlight or deep dive into game operation.
Covered in this week's episode is obstacle placement and ship placement during the setup phase.
Charles will hold a discussion around the strategy of where obstacles go as well as placing ships to give new players some options for how to create the best matchup against their opponents.
Roll Call
This segment is to highlight different pilots, cards, or rules that are important to our Academy 101 segment that we feel needs further discussion.
Covered this week will be the cards that utilize the obstacles placed to their advantage.
Covered will be Qira, Debris Gambit, Trick Shot, Scum Tie Fighter, and Trade Federation Drones.
System Malfunctions
This segment is to highlight different functions that have different interactions that are not as known but are interesting to learn about.
Covered this week will be the Teflon Belly Run, Marg Sabl Closure, and Q7 Astromech.
Rebel Hanger Cadets
This segment is to help players understand list building mechanics and why pieces are used to build lists that are decent lists to fly either in tournaments or during a local gathering with prize support.
Covered this week is Charles provides a different take on a recently popular Scum list with Bossk that hits like a Mack Truck.

Charles dives into understanding the core types of lists that can be built along with what they each need to have synergy to make them good. He will also review the difference between Meta Lists verses Jank verses building original lists.

System Malfunctions
