#3: All Your Systems Belong to Us

Welcome to the third episode of Planning Phase Syndicate.  This episode will contain our Academy 101, Roll Call, What Turns My Dials, and Construct the Death Star segments.

 

Here is the breakdown of what each segment contains.

 

Academy 101

• This segment name is determining training for new pilots that allow us to explain rules or mechanics of the game that will give a highlight or deep dive into game operation.
• Covered this week was System and Activation Phases.
• Live demonstrations using TTS and Cards to help the views understand some of the basic mechanics that go into understanding these two phases.

 

Roll Call

• This segment is to highlight different pilots, cards, or rules that are important to our Academy 101 segment that we feel needs further discussion.
• Covered this week was Trajectory Simulator and Sensitive Controls how they are used in the system and activation phases.
• Live Demonstration was given using TTS to show how each of these upgrade cards can help you

 

What Turns My Dials

• This is an opinion segment where one of the hosts discusses something that bothers them about x-wing whether it be a mechanic of the game, ship, rule or any card.
• Covered this week is Tanner’s opinion on Torkil Mux, the infamous hawk that reduces your initiative to 0.

 

Construct the Death Star

• This segment is a team building exercise that allows for building a squad that is fun without being ultra competitive that is later used to play against other players Construct the Death Star list in our Trench Run Series.
• The List of the Week was given to Christopher to fly against a list we will create in Episode 4.
